We have been looking at newspapers and what they have in them. There are headlines, captions, introduction, picture, and more but we have been focusing mainly on captions, headlines and introductions they where pretty easy to think of.Then we had to get in partners and say a story that has happend in our lives. After that we had to write down who was involved, what happend, why it happend, when it happend and who it happend to.

Today we have been introduced to our new topic. We have to make a magazine to show information on world war 2.We need to work in twos this time, so this might make things complicated when theres a arguement. We have been told not to choose close friends because somtimes they can put us off task. But its not just about war we will be doing about peaceful life in that time to. Also during today we have been looking at questions to do with journalists and ww2 but we have not been anwsering them just discusing them between pairs. But we still need to complete our getting on around the world project (travel agency) but this should be finshed by friday. We are very exited to be starting our briliant project!!

In topic we have been doing about travel agencys ‘going bust’ so we had to make another thriving buisness. A travel Agency. We have all got groups and we had to think of a name. All the names of the new buisnesses are Happy holidays, Star holidays, The time of your life, Holiday heaven and The best choice. We all had to pick one place in spain, we had the choice of Ibiza, Madrid or Barcolona. Today we have been altering our adverts and trying to finish them. Tomorrow we have to finish our picasso’s because some people have finished some people havn’t. All of us now have finished our advert thay are all very good.

We made these Sanish holiday brochures in our groups. They where really easy to make. All you had to do was fold the piece of paper in to 4 or 3 and add information of our holiday. Such as infomations a map address and number. And the opening times for our teams.

Mrs Emson set us a challenge in Topic. We had to write a starter and maincourse in spanish, it was easy. All we had to do was research about spanish food then we had to write it down on a piece of paper and then do it in neat and colour it in.

On our dance day we did the salsa dancing again then held hands then after that we did the same moves and we also did a new move and then we had to do a turn with the other persons hand behind you neck and then we had to split up and do those moves ourselves.

On Friday we tasted some fantastic,delicious spanish food and drinks they were made with ice, fresh fruit, grape juice, orange juice, lime cordial. Miss Emson and Mr Bate made some geourgious food.
