Maths on Monday
Yesterday in maths we revised what we already Knew about protracters and angles.We had to draw out a triangle in our books then find out the angle and then write it in our books.

Our new topic is about world war 2, we have to make a 2 page news paper about ww2 and what happend .We also have to find out who was involved. We have to find out more stuff like the Blitz and the Rationing also we have to find how ww2 started and why.

A New Topic
Today we have been introduced to our new topic. We have to make a magazine to show information on world war 2.We need to work in twos this time, so this might make things complicated when theres a arguement. We have been told not to choose close friends because somtimes they can put us off task. But its not just about war we will be doing about peaceful life in that time to. Also during today we have been looking at questions to do with journalists and ww2 but we have not been anwsering them just discusing them between pairs. But we still need to complete our getting on around the world project (travel agency) but this should be finshed by friday. We are very exited to be starting our briliant project!!

The final week of term
We have recently been working on our spanish travel agency. We have been doing our last 3 sessions of our movie maker and some of them are fantastic. We will not be finshed on schedule so will are continuing this week so parents have more notice. But soon will be the time to show are finished product so our parents will be able to come see us in the school! Not long ago we have been trying to improve on Maths. 6e were working on division methods and there were a few mistake people made.we are curently producing our holiday brochures they are apearing to be wonderful. But at first we strugled to create the image that Miss Emson had in mind. But over all our projects are looking good. we did a basket ball festival at the grimsby leisure center yesterday we did shooting at the hoops,dribling ,playing tournemants it was really fun.in maths we had to work out each letter was for exaple a+e=j it was really tricky.

In topic we have been doing about travel agencys ‘going bust’ so we had to make another thriving buisness. A travel Agency. We have all got groups and we had to think of a name. All the names of the new buisnesses are Happy holidays, Star holidays, The time of your life, Holiday heaven and The best choice. We all had to pick one place in spain, we had the choice of Ibiza, Madrid or Barcolona. Today we have been altering our adverts and trying to finish them. Tomorrow we have to finish our picasso’s because some people have finished some people havn’t. All of us now have finished our advert thay are all very good.

This week we have been making our pictures and text work to put on our board on our topic getting on around the world (ibiza, madrid or barcolona) we was going to have parents in this weeek and sell them our holidays and flights but not all of us are finished them, so parents are coming in after half term. In Mr Bates class we have been working on the grid multiplycation by 10 and 20 digit numbers. In Mrs Emsons we have been working on dividing using the chunking method.

In science we were learning about light reflecting of mirrors. We used mirrors a torch and a peice of paper to reflect the torch on to the peice of paper.It was easy to do after that we made a diagram of this .

We made these Sanish holiday brochures in our groups. They where really easy to make. All you had to do was fold the piece of paper in to 4 or 3 and add information of our holiday. Such as infomations a map address and number. And the opening times for our teams.

Maths day
In maths yesterday we used these things called magimixer ther are 7 dices conected together and then there are two black dices and all of the others are different colours and the black dices you add together and with the multicoulerd ones you can multiply,divide,subtract and divide some of them where hard and some easy.
